I'm Rachel
My Story
Hello, I am Rachel Everk. I am a wife, mother of one handsome baby boy, and most importantly a Christian.
I've worked in the Family Entertainment industry for over 10 years as an Event Sales Manager, booking and coordinating thousands of family and corporate events of all sizes. Sadly, the business sold and I was laid off. After being laid off, I decided to use my skills and experience to start Bride's Best Friend.
Thinking back to my wedding, I was 100% a DIY Bride!! I made all my decorations, non-stop researched to get the best deals, and enlisted all my friends and family to help! The one thing I struggled so much with was finding someone to coordinate the day for me; to do all the things I would normally do myself when coordinating an event. Everyone I felt I could trust with this special task was invited to our wedding and paying for a coordinator was out of my budget. With this in mind, I came up with Bride's Best Friend. I want to help my fellow DIY/budget Brides on their big day! I want each Bride to feel as though I am her Best Friend and will do everything I can to make her day the day she has always dreamed of!
